ARTIST PROFILES

TRAX big band is a Western District community based band with members from Casterton, Hamilton Warrnambool, Port Fairy, Maldon and Glenorchy.
Originally it was formed by a group of Hamilton musicians wanting to re-create the music style of "The Big Band Era" using competent musicians and singers. From there it has developed into a band whose repertoire includes Swing, Jazz, Rhythm and Blues and Rock and Roll.

Although inevitably the membership changes from time to time, TRAX has managed to maintain the musical integrity and intentions of the original members.
